Chris Young makes L.A. show a charity concert

Chris Young didn't just entertain his fans with his show earlier this week in Los Angeles.

The country star capped off his performance at the House of Blues Monday by making a charitable donation.  He gave $25,000 he earned for the concert to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Stars For Stripes.

Chris says it was "a fun night of music" which was made "all that much better" since he could also help these organizations.

Young performed for nearly two hours, playing songs off his new album, A.M. and other hits.

Chris will continue to give back - this time to his fans - with his next show.  He's playing a free show at Fort Smith River Park in Fort Smith, Arkansas Thursday night.
