George Strait logs more sell-outs for final tour

George Strait is seeing how much his fans want to see him on his final tour. 

Tickets for seven of his "Cowboy Rides Away" shows went on sale Friday, and six of the dates were fast sell-outs. 

The King of Country will be appearing before capacity crowds when he performs in Omaha, Nebraska; San Diego, California; and Phoenix, Arizona; as well as in Columbus, Ohio; Atlanta; and Denver. The only stop that wasn't an instant sell-out is Strait's February 14th show in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

The latest dates follow Strait's sell-out in Los Angeles a week earlier. When his February 8th concert at the Staples Center went on sale, all 17-thousand-178 tickets were gone in under nine minutes. Another round of tickets will be available starting this Friday.

Tickets for George Strait's concerts the following dates will go on sale October 11th at 10:00 a.m. local time in each city.

January 18 - Kansas City, Missouri, at the Sprint Center - with Eric Church
February 1 - Las Vegas, Nevada at the MGM Grand - with Miranda Lambert
February 28 - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the Wells Fargo Center - with Martina McBride
March 1 - Newark, New Jersey, at the Prudential Center - with Martina McBride
March 7 - Louisville, Kentucky, at the KFC Yum! Center
March 8 - Chicago, Illinois, at the Allstate Arena
April 11 - Portland, Oregon, at the Moda Center - with Chris Young
April 12 - Tacoma, Washington, at the Tacoma Dome - with Chris Young
April 19 - Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the BOK Arena - with Ronnie Dunn
