Kenny Chesney's latest efforts as a filmmaker are hitting the small screen.  The country star's new football documentary, The Believer, will debut on ESPN's SEC Network Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.

Chesney teamed up with video director Shaun Silva to create the film about the University of South Carolina's head football coach, Steve Spurrier.  In college, Spurrier won the Heisman Trophy with the Florida Gators, then went on to a pro career in the NFL.  In over 30 years as a coach, Spurrier has brought an ACC championship to Duke as well as multiple SEC titles and a national championship to the University of Florida.  He's the most successful football coach ever at South Carolina.

The Believer continues Chesney's relationship with ESPN.  He also helped create the high school football documentary The Boys Of Fall, as well as The Color Orange, which told the story of the University of Tennessee's Condredge Holloway.  Holloway was the first African-American starting quarterback in the Southeastern Conference.
